NATURE TRAIL

The Pengraig Farm Bushcraft Centre is set within a European larch plantation and boundaried on one side with a natural deciduous woodland and monoculture conifer plantation on the other side. The juxtaposition of native woodland and pine plantation is a first lesson a visitor to our bushcraft centre will experience. There are no ground flora or fauna (birds or wildlife) in the pine plantation, whereas the native deciduous woodland is rich in herbs, insects birds and small mammals.
